Gyms in the West End
Between Princes Street and Haymarket, Edinburgh's West End packs Reformer studios, an indoor cycling studio and a PureGym into a few streets.

Training in the West End
Reformers, bikes and a big-box gym.
Pilates studios set the tone. Pointe Ahead Pilates teaches Reformer, Mat, Tower and Barre and trains instructors as a STOTT PILATES academy, mena. runs Pilates and Barre, and Pilates on the Corner and Blue Sky Pilates make four. PedalHouse is an indoor cycling and rowing studio, Karma Yoga Edinburgh and Tali Allen Yoga cover yoga, PureGym Exchange Crescent is the open-access gym, and One Spa is a thermal spa for afterwards.
The West End sits on the western edge of the city centre, with Haymarket station on its border and tram stops at West End and Haymarket. The Water of Leith runs through its northern part, past Dean Village, so a riverside run is easy to fit around a class, and easier still with a training partner.
