Training in Hillhead

Trapezes over the pool, Pilates down the street.

The Western Baths Club on Cranworth Street is a private members' club with a pool hung with trapezes and travelling rings, a Turkish and Russian baths suite, a gym, exercise and spin studios, a boxing and conditioning room and a sports hall. Three Pilates teachers are listed nearby: Otago Street Pilates, Forbes Pilates and Pilates with Jason. Dance4Water teaches Cuban salsa, bachata and kizomba, Glasgow Tango Collective teaches tango, and the Ssuyom School of Tai Chi completes the list.

The River Kelvin bends round Hillhead's northern and eastern edges, and Kelvingrove Park is just to the south. With the University of Glasgow on the hill, plenty of people here are new to the city and looking for someone to train with.
