Training in Bank
A chain gym and some specialists.
Bank's list is short but varied. The Gym Group Leeds York Road is the open-access gym, and Aerial Empire on Berking Avenue teaches pole, aerial hoop, silks and flexibility. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Leeds and GAMA, the Gaulton Academy of Martial Arts, share Aerial Empire's postcode, and Powerleague runs football pitches at Trinity Academy.
Before Richmond Hill was rebuilt, its slum housing and industry were known as The Bank. Pole, aerial and jiu-jitsu all go better with a regular training partner to learn alongside.
