Training in Aston
Football on every side, and a few places to lift.
Aston Villa have played at Villa Park since 1897, and the ground takes up part of the old park around Aston Hall, the Jacobean house the council still owns. For your own training the list is short and practical: Coliseum Gym for weights, JST Mve Personal Training Gym for coached sessions, and AllStars Sports for women's basketball and badminton. Football dominates the rest, from SACA Football Arena to junior academies.
Aston Park, around the hall, is your nearest green space for running. A parkrun started there in October 2023 but stopped in August 2024, so for now a regular running partner is the way to keep a weekly loop going.
